After a scenic walk along the Turret’s riverbank, just 30 minutes from the church tower, you will discover the oldest working Distillery, Glenturret. Experts in single malt whisky distillery since 1763, take a tour to unveil the history of the ancient art of whisky distillery.
Glenturret’s café will provide an array of delicious refreshments to keep you going on your journey. Make sure to stop off at Glenturrets gift shop to browse a selection of locally produced, handcrafted gifts and whiskies or explore the Lalique boutique shop to purchase a unique momento to take home with you.
LALIQUE RESTAURANT
Blending traditional with a touch of modernity, Lalique is a renowned French crystal house specialising in jewellery and vases. Lalique’s first collaboration with Glenturret began with the creation of the whisky bottle, 2 artistries housed in one incredible creation.
Now Laliques touch can be found in the stunning interior of the restaurant, expertly designed with chandeliers, glassware and crystal ornaments throughout. Led by executive chef Mark Donald and the team, the two-micheln starred restaurant serves a seasonal multi-course tasting menu of the finest highland-inspired dishes, pair with a flight of Glenturret’s signature whisky’s in Lalique crystal glasses for the ultimate luxury gastronomical experience complimented with remarkable views of the River Turret.
